Diffuse Lung Disease
“Trajectories and Prognostic Significance of 6-Minute Walk Test Parameters in Fibrotic Interstitial Lung Disease opens in new tab/window” finds that functional assessments using 6-minute walk tests in patients with fibrotic interstitial lung disease are important for evaluation of disease progression and prognostication. Pulmonary Vascular
Post hoc analysis of a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, “Inhaled Treprostinil Dosage in Pulmonary Hypertension Associated With Interstitial Lung Disease and Its Effects on Clinical Outcomes opens in new tab/window,” finds inhaled treprostinil at a dose of ≥9 breaths per session, four times daily, resulted in less clinical worsening and more clinical improvement. Thoracic Oncology
Looking at 7,369 actively smoking patients, “Factors Associated With Smoking Cessation Attempts in Lung Cancer Screening opens in new tab/window” concludes pharmacologic treatment to aid in smoking cessation is effective and recommends it to be offered to all patients who smoke during lung cancer screening.
