United Arab Emirates University Establishes First Read and Publish Agreement with Elsevier

Elsevier and United Arab Emirates University Forge Key Read and Publish Agreement.

Elsevier, a global leader in research publishing and information analytics, has established its first read and publish agreement with United Arab Emirates University. Launched in January 2024, the three-year agreement grants researchers access to Elsevier journals on ScienceDirect and allows corresponding authors affiliated with UAEU to publish their research open access in select journals, without incurring article processing charges.

Dr Naeema Alhosani, Acting Library Director of UAEU said, "The transformative agreement with Elsevier is a milestone for academic publishing at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). It opens a new chapter in research dissemination, giving our scholars greater freedom to publish. This agreement aligns with our goals to boost the international reach and accessibility of our scholarly work.”
