Zhaoxin Wang

In terms of academic research, Professor Wang is the associate editor of the international journal BMJ Family Medicine and Community Health, executive editor of Chinese General Practice, vice editor of Chinese Journal of General Practice, and the editorial board member of domestic core journals, such as Chinese Health Resources, Chinese Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine, Chinese Journal of General Practitioners, Chinese Journal of General Practice. Professor Wang has presided more than 30 scientific research projects ranging from international level (NIH), national level (National Key Research and Development, National Natural Resources, Ministry of Education, Philosophy and Society, etc.), provincial and ministerial level, to municipal level. Professor Wang has presided more than 50 research projects commissioned by Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease control and prevention and medical institutions as well. Professor Wang has published 61 SCI or SSCI papers with the cumulative impact factors over 300 points, and more than 150 papers in Chinese core journals.

In terms of the transformation of research achievements, Professor Wang has a high influence in the field of policy making related to the primary health and the reform of public hospitals in Shanghai. The research achievements of Professor Wang have been approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and adopted by the relevant documents of the Health Commissions of Shanghai Province, Sichuan Province, Hainan Province, Jiangsu Province, etc. Professor Wang holds 17 computer software copyrightshas and has been recognized with titles including National Key R&D Chief Scientist, High-Level Talents of Hainan Province, Leading Talents of Hainan Province, Discipline Leader of Shanghai, Outstanding Young Talent in the Health System of Shanghai, the Young Top-notch Talent of Shanghai, Science and Technology Progress Award of Shanghai, and Medical Science and Technology Award of Shanghai.
