Talk Title: Image-guided applications in nanomedicine

Fabian Kiessling is leading the Institute for Experimental Molecular Imaging at RWTH-Aachen University in Germany. His research is about the development of novel diagnostic, theranostic and therapeutic probes as well of advanced imaging technologies and image analysis tools. He studied Medicine and performed his thesis and clinical training as Radiologist in Heidelberg (University of Heidelberg, DKFZ). He co-founded 2 companies, authored >500 scientific publications and edited four books. Furthermore, he was president of the European Molecular Imaging Society and is a fellow of the World Molecular Imaging Society. Since 2019 he is listed as “Highly Cited Researcher” by Clarivate Analytics.
