Huabin Xing

Huabin Xing is a professor of Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University, China. He received a BS in Pharmaceutical Engineering (2000) and a MS in Chemical Engineering (2003) from Zhejiang University, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (2007) from Tsinghua University. Then he joined the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Zhejiang University, in 2007 as a postdoctoral fellow. He became a full professor in 2014, and currently serves as a Qiushi Distinguished Professor and Deputy Dean of Faculty of Engineering at Zhejiang University. His research interests focus on the preparation of functional materials for gas separation, bioactive compound purification, and energy storage. He has published over 220 journal articles, and was selected as NSFC Distinguished Young Scholars, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the SCEJ Award for Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer, Qingshan Technology Award, Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Award.
