Quan-Fu An is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Technology. He got his Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2005 and then worked in the Department of Chemical Engineering at ZJU. He moved to Beijing University of Technology in Jan. 2017.Throughout the years, he received support from the Zhejiang Provincial Distinguished Youth Fund in 2015, being selected for the "Great Wall Scholar" cultivation program in Beijing in 2017. In 2021, he received support from the National Natural Science Foundation's Outstanding Youth Fund. His major research interests include the construction and application of high-performance membranes and membrane components in the fields of energy, environment, and chemical engineering. Until now, he has published more than 200 SCI papers on international journals such as Nat. Nanotech., Adv. Mater., Angew., AIChE J., J. Membr. Sci. and 72 issued patents. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Beijing Membrane Society, a member of the Electromembrane Committee of China Membrane Industry Association, and an editorial board member of journals such as Advanced Membranes, Results in Engineering, and Membrane Science and Technology.
