Yong Wang is a professor at Southeast University and Nanjing Tech University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. After that, he worked at Beijing Technology Center of P&G and the Max Planck Institute of Microstructural Physics (Humboldt Scholar). He was awarded “Distinguished Young Scholar Award” supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and the chief scientist of National Basic Research Program of China, and served as the associate editor of Macromolecules. He proposed the concept of “homoporous membranes, HOMEs” and systematically conducted the research on the design, preparation, amplification and application of HOMEs. He has achieved more than 20 invention patents and published over 200 SCI papers. He was elected as a member in the Ten Thousand-Talent Program and received several honors and awards, including National Excellent Teacher, Youth Chemistry Award of the Chinese Chemical Society and Second-Class Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (3/10).
