Dr. Zhen Gu is a Qiushi Distinguished Chair Professor and Dean of College of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Zhejiang University. He also serves as the Director of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Drug Delivery and Release Systems, and Deputy Director of Pharmaceutics Professional Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. Dr. Gu's group studies controlled drug delivery, biomaterials and cell therapy. He has published over 320 research papers and applied over 100 patents. 5 of his innovative therapeutics and techniques are under clinical trials, including platelet-drug conjugate, glucose-responsive smart insulin and plasma-mediated therapy equipment.
