Ana Maria Ferraria is currently Invited Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and a researcher at the Biospectroscopy and Interfaces Research Group (BSIRG) at the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB), a research unit of IST, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal.
Dr. Ferraria research interests are focused on sensing surfaces, Carbon allotropes, (photo)catalytic systems, in-situ synthesis of metal/metal oxide/halide nanoparticles on polysaccharides-based surfaces, XPS studies, among others.
Dr. Ferraria has over 100 published full papers, 1 book chapter and delivered over 80 communications (oral and posters) in conferences. She has been pointed editor of Results in Surfaces and Interfaces from May 2020.
