Bo Xu is a professor at the Center of High Pressure Science (CHiPS) within the State Key Laboratory of Metastable Materials Science and Technology at Yanshan University, China. He received his bachelor’s degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 1994, followed by a PhD from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002. After completing the postdoctoral research at University of Maryland, College Park, He joined the faculty of Yanshan University in 2006. His research focuses on the exploration of novel metastable materials, superhard materials, and thermoelectric materials.
