Carien Hilvering

Carien Hilvering has worked as an information specialist at the University Library (UB) since December 2019, working on research evaluation based on data from the Current Research Information System (CRIS). Carien is part of the Research Support & Development team at the UB. She is team leader of the Research Intelligence team that supports academics and policy staff in demonstrating impact for grant applications, annual reports and visitations. She is also team leader of the CRIS team, which facilitates the registration of UM research outcomes in our Pure system. She herself has research experience, as a researcher in Biomedical Genomics at the Hubrecht Institute in Utrecht. This helps her understand the researcher's perspective, and be able to provide appropriate support.
