He was a member of the Centre for Quality Assurance and Enhancement at NIT Calicut. The main objective of the centre is to identify and apply benchmarks for the assessment of quality in academic, research, and administrative spheres in the Institute. Since 2017, he has been coordinating the activities related to the NIRF ranking assessment at the institute level, which includes collecting, collating, and analyzing data required for NIRF parameters.
