Justyna Płotka-Wasylka graduated from the Gdańsk University of Technology with a Ph.D. in Chemical Science in 2014, after which she started work at the Gdańsk University of Technology (Department of Analytical Chemistry). In 2019, she ranked up to Professor at GUT, Poland. She was called as Member of Young Scientists Council of Minister of Science and Higher Education in 2018. Since 2018, she has been an Editor at the Microchemical Journal (Elsevier). In 2020, she was included in the expert body assessing applications for the award of the minister responsible for higher education and science processed in the following year. In 2020, she was nominated to the Food, Raw Materials and Food Products Analytics Team of the Analytical Chemistry Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, while in 2024, she was nominated to the Analytical Chemistry Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She is an active researcher currently work intensively in various fields of analytical separation. In order to assess developed procedures, she developed a tools for assessing analytical protocols relative to green analytical chemistry attributes, called GAPI and ComplexGAPI. She has conducted several Research Projects. She co-authored more than 100 peer reviewed papers and a book chapter, which received > 7200 citations, H = 39.
