María Gabriela Benítez Salgado, an alumni of Industrial Engineering from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) in Ecuador, holds a Master's in Project Management from the Universitat de Barcelona in Spain. She initiated her professional journey at USFQ, working in the Department of Continuous Improvement and Accreditation. Currently serving as the Coordinator of the Office of the Dean for Research and Creativity, she has been a driving force behind innovative initiatives. Her skills in project management and relationship-building with researchers and professors have been instrumental in fostering new strategies for higher education and incorporating emerging artificial intelligence tools. She actively participates in programs aimed at transforming universities through the enhancement of research as a fundamental pillar.
