Mikhael Bechelany

Born in March 1979, Mikhael Bechelany earned his PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Lyon in 2006. After a postdoc at EMPA (Switzerland), he joined the European Institute of Membranes (CNRS) in 2010. His research focuses on inorganic membranes for energy, health, and environmental applications. He collaborates with academic and industrial partners within ANR and European projects. Co-editor of the Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, he has authored 400 publications, 19 book chapters, and holds 19 patents (h-index = 82). He has also contributed to the creation of six start-ups.
