Pär Olsson is Professor of Physics and Head of the Department of Physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He obtained his PhD from Uppsala University in 2005 and worked as an industry researcher at EDF R&D in France from 2006 until 2011 when he came to KTH. His research is focused on nuclear materials for current and future reactor systems including fusion reactors, as well as repository materials and other materials for energy transformation. He is the director of the SUNRISE centre for sustainable nuclear energy research and for the recently established Nuclear Materials Platform (NuMaP) in Sweden.
