Bahçeşehir University and Elsevier Pure collaborate for academic success

Bahçeşehir University (BAU) announced its successful collaboration with Elsevier Pure, an academic research infrastructure used in more than 300 leading institutions around the world, at an event hosted in Istanbul by the university and Elsevier.

The event, which brought together esteemed university leaders, academics and researchers across Bahçeşehir University, was an important milestone for the development of innovation and excellence in the university’s research ecosystem and heralded the launch of the new Bahçeşehir University research portalopens in new tab/window, powered by Pure.

As the first university in Turkey to benefit from Pure, the collaboration between Bahçeşehir University and Elsevier Pure represents a major breakthrough in advancing research excellence, supporting academic growth and facilitating knowledge dissemination.

During the event, Bahçeşehir University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tunç Bozbura offered an opening address, emphasizing the importance of renewing the research website and drawing attention to the transformative impact of collaboration with Elsevier Pure. The partnership increases research productivity and knowledge dissemination by enabling Bahçeşehir University to effectively measure the performance of its researchers and provide uninterrupted access to their publications.

Mr. Shadi Awwad, Sales Director for Elsevier Research Intelligence Regional Solutions, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the vital role of collaboration in driving innovation and the latest trends and developments in research practice.

Mr. Kaveh Samadi Khah, a Customer Consultant supporting Elsevier’s customers in Turkey, showcased the integration of Elsevier Pure with Bahçeşehir University's research infrastructure, optimizing the efficiencies of research reporting and enabling researchers to optimize their output.

Panel discussions and engaging Q&A sessions helped to further foster collaboration and the exchange of knowledge among event attendees, expanding networks within the research community.

About Bahçeşehir University A private institution in Istanbul, Bahçeşehir University (BAU) was founded by the Bahçeşehir-Uğur Education Foundation in 1998, and opened student admissions for the 1999-2000 academic year in English.
