Opening Lecture: Engineering of reactions with advances in machine learning and AI

Alexei Lapkin graduated as a (bio) chemist and then specialised in catalytic reaction engineering for his PhD.

Following completion of PhD at the University of Bath he was appointed as a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering. Since 2013 he is a Professor of Sustainable Reaction Engineering at the University of Cambridge.
