Gang Li, PhD

Prof. Gang Li is a chair professor in School of Information Management at Wuhan University. He received his Ph.D degree in information science from Wuhan University. His research interests include information management and information systems.

His work has been published in Information Processing & Management, International Journal of Information Management, and Journal of Informetrics. He serves as the Editor in Chief of Journal of Information Resources Management, one of the leading journals of information sciences in China. He also serve as the  Associate Director of Academic Committee, Wuhan University; the Director of the Center for Studies of Information Resources at Wuhan University; the General Secretary of the National Professional Education Supervisory Committee of LIS; and The Deputy Chair of the China Information Economics Association. Now, he leads the Creative Research Groups of Information Resources Management funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China as the chief scientist.
