Dr. Stephanie Lansing is a Full Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Environmental Science & Technology at the University of Maryland, USA. She leads the Bioenergy and Bioprocessing Technology Laboratory.
Her research focuses on anaerobic digestion, antimicrobial resistance, microbial electrolysis cells, nanotechnology, gasification, and nutrient management and capture. She has 20 years of experience in renewable energy research, outreach education, and economic and sustainability analyses of waste to energy systems. She has published more than 70 journal articles, given over 150 presentations, and received more than $15 million (USD) in research funding from national and international agencies.
