Elsevier electronic title-by-title pricing for academic customers
Next to print, Elsevier offers electronic subscriptions to titles that are priced based on research intensity and size of the subscriber.
Most journals will follow a standard adjustment matrix.
For journals in the Cell Press and The Lancet portfolios (i.e., journals with a specific target audience), pricing will be based on the same criteria (i.e., research intensity and size) but will have a different price adjustment matrix. Also, the society journal Blood has a different adjustment matrix.
Most journals in the Doyma and Masson portfolios have a flat price and are not dependent on research intensity and size.
The tables below show the relative percentage of list price for each combination of research intensity and size for academic and government accounts, which can be used for estimation purposes only. Be sure to reference the correct grid for your market sector and contact your Elsevier Account Manager to discuss the specifics of any agreement pricing.
