Please describe who you are and your institution.
I am Prof. Dr. Gülfem Elif Çelik, and I am a Professor and Dean for the Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University, Turkey.
What are your key challenges in accessing evidence-based information in your daily role?
My university has been using ClinicalKey for a while. Using ClinicalKey provides easy access to many popular scientific journals and full-text papers. This allows me to have access to significant evidence required for clinical reasoning.
From your perspective, what are the main benefits of using ClinicalKey?
As scientific knowledge changes faster than ever, supporting this requires a fast assistant near you like ClinicalKey. I think fast and easy access from any source is the most important property. I especially advise it to my residents as they need immediate help.
Do you think ClinicalKey has improved your ability to improve clinical decision-making? How and in which area?
As time and knowledge are the most important things in our lives, ClinicalKey brings two of them to our scientific lives. Beyond books and journals, videos are also helpful for especially young medical students and fellows to develop their professional skills and interventions. I believe using ClinicalKey will help support the best decisions for the diagnosis and treatment of the patients by providing the best evidence.
