Benu Adhikari (PhD, Professor) is a Highly Cited Researcher (Agricultural Science category, 2024). His research covers various themes including alternative ingredients, food proteins, food powders, food packaging and special need foods. He has co-authored over 440 publications and his current H-index is 94 (Google Scholar). He serves as a Senior Associate Editor of Drying Technology (Taylor and Francis), Associate Editor of Sustainable Food Technology (Royal Society of Chemistry) and Editorial Boards of Future Foods, Journal of Food Engineering and Journal of Integrative Agriculture. He has 20+ years of experience in research and teaching in university settings in Australia, Singapore, France and China.
