Xiangping Zhang is a professor at China University of Petroleum, Beijing and Institute of Process Engineering, CAS. Her research mainly focuses on process system integration, chemical thermodynamics, ionic liquids and materials design, gas separation and purification, CO2 capture and utilization. She has published more than 270 papers in peer reviewed journals, and obtained more than 60 issued Chinese invention patents and 4 issued PCT patents. She was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scientists, the Min Enze Award for Excellent Contribution to Energy and Chemical Engineering and the Hou Debang Chemical Science & Technology Achievement Award.
