Daniel J. Twitchen

Dr Daniel Twitchen has over 25 years’ experience developing CVD and HPHT diamond synthesis for optical, thermal, electrochemical and quantum sensing applications.

His academic career started in Oxford with a DPhil in Physics, before moving to Element Six (E6) in its CVD team. Having previously covered a wide range of senior roles across R&D and Commercial, he operated as E6’s CTO prior to his current position of Executive Director, Business Development & Technologies Sales.

With more than 150 academic publications, 20,000 citations and over 60 granted patents, Dr Twitchen is a member of several national and international steering boards and has previously served on the Strategic Advisory Board for the UK’s National Quantum Program.
