Edgar Liu is a Senior Research Fellow at the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research’s Healthy Urban Environments Collaboratory. He is also an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at UNSW Sydney’s City Futures Research Centre. He has background in human geography, and has over a decade’s experience in urban and housing policy research in Australia.
He specialises in social and affordable housing policy and development, family housing, and ageing in place, how these intersect with public and social policy, including disadvantage communities’ access to affordable and renewable energy. He regularly works with governments, industry and the community sector on collaborative projects on these topics, advising on policy and sector development.
