Heather Steel, MLS

Heather Steel, MLS is a Librarian at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. She joined Children’s Mercy in March 2020 and was primarily invited to join the library team to administer Children’s Mercy’s IR. She has managed SHARE@Children’s Mercy since and has been integral in promoting the IR both internally and externally. She is also responsible for curating the archives at Children’s Mercy into live and digital exhibits.  Prior to joining Children’s Mercy, she was a solo librarian at a trade association where she established a DC IR and developed journal publishing workflows within the IR.
