Helen Scott

Helen supports the strategic direction of the Metadata and Discovery division at the University of Manchester Library, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Digital and Special Collections Metadata Team.

Managing a team of Metadata Specialists and Metadata Assistants working with the Library’s Digital Special Collections, Research Data and Theses Collections, and Rare Print Collections, she has responsibility for enabling the discovery and access of content through the development and application of best practice metadata processes and standards.
