Josiah Newton, PhD

Josiah Newton is the producer behind the YouTube channel ‘That Chemist’, and works as the president of NewChem Science Inc. His channel produces a series of educational videos surrounding the topic of chemistry in an entertaining format.

He completed his PhD in Chemistry at Simon Fraser University (Burnaby, British Columbia) in the field of organic synthesis, with an emphasis on the development of desulfurative fluorination methodology.
