Mir Uiterwijk started her carrier as a researcher in the field of psychopharmacology. The main emphasis was on measuring adverse reactions on new drugs, focussing on attention and driving skills. After 6 years, she started working at Maastricht University as information specialist at the library, a few years later she was asked to continue as functional manager of the new CRIS implemented at the university. About 6 years ago, this CRIS was replaced by Pure, and our Pure team now consists of 6 people working partly or full time in Pure as administrators. Lots of experience also leads to lots of ideas of how to make things easier for other users and key-users within our faculties.
