Sorawis Sangtawesin is a lecturer in the School of Physics, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University in 2016 with his thesis work on quantum control of nuclear spins coupled to nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton, focusing on probing diamond surface noise and developing a pristine diamond surface for quantum sensing. After joining Suranaree University of Technology in 2019, he has been working to establish a quantum control and quantum sensing laboratory with NV centers in diamond. He is also interested in developing instruments for fluorescence microscopy applications.
