Theo joined Elsevier in 2012 and has worked in different roles across the Research and Health businesses, including most recently SVP Strategy, Research.

Academic Information Systems serve a variety of institutional needs, such as supporting faculty management, providing insights to develop more effective research strategies, or showcasing institutions and faculty to improve collaboration and attract more funding. He holds a Masters in Applied Mathematics from the University of Natal, and an MBA from INSEAD, and has previously worked as a research scientist in corporate R&D, an Operations Manager at a materials manufacturing company, and a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company.
