Li-Zhu Wu is a full professor of Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests are focused on photochemical conversion, including artificial photosynthesis, visible light catalysis for organic transformation, and photoinduced electron transfer, energy transfer and chemical reactions in supramolecular systems. Her awards include National Nature Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar of China, the 10th China Youth Science and Technology Award, the 7th Young Women Scientists award of China, a Certificate of Merit of the Third National Innovation Award, the 9th China Chemical Society-China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Chemical Contribution Award. She was elected as a Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019, a Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in 2021, a New Cornerstone Investigator in 2022.
