Art Ellis

Before joining Elsevier as a senior advisor, Dr. Ellis was vice president for research and graduate studies at the University of California Office of the President, the position from which he retired in 2019. In previous appointments, Dr. Ellis served as provost at City University of Hong Kong; vice chancellor for research at the University of California, San Diego; director of the Division of Chemistry at the U.S. National Science Foundation; and Meloche-Bascom Professor of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
