Stefano Tonzani

Stefano has worked for a number of years on launching and growing scientific journals, in both editorial and business development roles. As Head of Journal Development at Elsevier, he oversees programs designed to optimize the inner workings of journals to make them run smoothly at scale.

Stefano’s background is in Chemical Physics, with a PhD at University of Colorado, Boulder and a postdoc at Northwestern University. He joined Elsevier in 2017, as Lead Editor for a large open access title.
