Presentation title: N-channel diamond field-effect transistors
Dr. Meiyong Liao is a Chief Researcher at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan. He obtained PhD degree at Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences (joint with COSDAF, City University of Hong Kong) in 2002. He was a visiting associate professor at Kyoto University from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, he joined in NIMS as a postdoctor researcher and was then employed as a senior researcher in 2008. He has been engaged in the research of wide-bandgap semiconductors (mainly diamond) from growth to photonics, electronics, and MEMS.
