Tian Xia

Professor Tian Xia, from UCLA’s Division of NanoMedicine, specializes in nanomedicine for biomedical applications. His research focuses on nanosafety, high-throughput screening, and multi-omics to assess nanomaterial toxicity. He also designs functional nanomaterials for vaccine adjuvants, antimicrobials, and immune tolerance therapies. With over 190 publications, he is a Highly Cited Researcher with H-index 88 (Web of Science, Clarivate). He serves as a Councilor for the Southern California Chapter of the Society of Toxicology and is an Associate Editor of Nanotoxicology, a leading journal in the field.
