Valerian Hall-Chen

I am Group Manager of the Plasma Physics and Energy Group at the Institute of High Performance Computing, A*STAR. I am also the main technical lead of the A*STAR Fusion Taskforce, which is currently planning A*STAR's entry into fusion research, ranging from materials & manufacturing to plasma diagnostics.

I hold a BA in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge. I completed a DPhil in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford under the supervision of Felix Parra and Jon Hillesheim.
