THE学際的科学ランキングとScopus、SciValによる国内大学分析

エルゼビアは、タイムズ・ハイアー・エデュケーション（THE）、クアクアレ リ・シモンズ（QS）、U.S. News、ShanghaiRanking Consultancy等の複数の 世界大学ランキングにおける研究力の評価に使用する目的でScopus、SciVal のデータを提供しています。 THEは世界大学ランキング、アジア大学ランキングだけではなく、2019年には SDGsに関連したインパクトランキングを開始し、今年の秋には、Schmidt Science Fellows （元Google会長兼最高経営責任者のエリックシュミットと彼の妻ウェンディ シュミットがフェローシップ賞に資金を提供）とパートナーを組み、「Interdisciplinary Science Rankings」（学際的科学ランキング）を 発表する予定です。 今回、弊社データ分析チームを率い、10年以上ランキング提供者とのパート ナーシップと深く関わってきたモハメド・アイサティが、政府やファンディ ング関係者と協議するために来日するのにあわせ、最近のメソドロジーの変 更や今後予想される変更、データから見える日本の大学の強み、課題に加え、 新しい学際的科学ランキングとScopus、SciValによる国内大学分析について のワークショップを開催します。 会場にお越しいただける方はイベント終了後に、ネットワーキングの時間を 設けておりますので、モハメド・アイサティや他機関の関係者とご交流いた だける機会となっております。ぜひご参加ください。 内容（予定）： 1. エルゼビアと大学ランキングの関係 2. エルゼビアのAcademic Evaluation Framework 3. 大学ランキング指標とScopusデータの関わり　 4. 分析から見える日本の大学の強み、課題 5. 学際的科学ランキングとScopus、SciValによる国内大学分析 6. Q&A Elsevier provides Scopus and SciVal data for use in the evaluation of research performance in several world university rankings, including Times Higher Education (THE), Quarrelli Simons (QS) US News and Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. In addition to the World University Rankings and Asia University Rankings, THE launched SDGs-related Impact Rankings in 2019, and has recently announced that it will publish an Interdisciplinary Science Rankings this fall in partnership with the Schmidt Science Fellows. M'hamed el Aisati, who leads our analytical & data team and who has been deeply involved in partnerships with ranking providers for over a decade, will visit Japan to engage with relevant stakeholders in the research community including government and funding agencies. During his visit he will also give a workshop on rankings including recent and anticipated methdology changes, the newly anticipated Interdisciplinary Science Rankings and the analysis of Japanese universities using Scopus and SciVal, as well as the strengths and challenges of Japanese universities as seen through data analysis of rankings.
