Young Jik Kwon

Dr Young Jik Kwon is a professor of pharmaceutical sciences, chemical and biomolecular engineering, biomedical engineering, and molecular biology and biochemistry at the University of California, Irvine. His research group investigates gene therapy; drug delivery; biomaterials; and cell-like vesicles for cancer therapy, infectious disease, and regenerative medicine. With an interdisciplinary education and research background, he has published in a broad range of biology, engineering, chemistry, and pharmaceutical sciences journals. He has also offered a number of journals his expertise, serving as author, reviewer, Editorial Board member, and guest editor. He is Editor-in-Chief of Methods.
