Editors note: In August, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared mpox a public health emergency of international concern 새 탭/창에서 열기, following up with a global Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan 새 탭/창에서 열기. At Elsevier, we make essential information related to specific public health emergencies openly available to support researchers, healthcare professionals, policy makers and the public.

SSRN — Elsevier’s platform for the rapid worldwide dissemination of early-stage research — is committed to making authors’ mpox-related preprints available immediately. Their Mpox Hub 새 탭/창에서 열기 provides a curated view into new early-stage research to help researchers, public health authorities, clinicians and the public understand, contain, navigate and manage the current outbreak.

Mpox datasets on Mendeley Data

We have selected datasets indexed by the Data Monitor search engine (including figshare, Zenodo, Dryad and more) to make it easier to find potentially relevant datasets for this topic. This resource has been updated for the 2024 outbreak.

Elsevier has created this Mpox Information Center in response to the declared public health emergency of international concern, with free information in English on the mpox virus. It is hosted on Elsevier Connect, the company’s public news and information website.

Elsevier hereby grants permission to make all its mpox-related research that is available on the Mpox Information Center immediately available in publicly funded repositories, with rights for unrestricted research re-use and analyses in any form or by any means with acknowledgement of the original source.
