Prashant Karandikar, PhD

Prashant is Solution consultant, responsible for Life sciences solution portfolio and supporting customers in pharmaceutical, chemical, clinical research organizations, and medical device companies from South Asia and South East Asia regions. Prashant joined Elsevier in Feb. 2022 and his current role is helping researchers to improve their R&D workflows and achieve business goals.

Before joining Elsevier, he worked as a product designer for Springer Nature Technology and publishing services as well as for Sci-Edge abstracts, (vendor company for Sci Finder). His role was focused on improving user experience, honing in on the most important researcher needs, and introducing new features & and functionality to deliver an enhanced chemistry database experience. He holds a doctorate degree in “Catalytic organic transformations” from the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, India. He worked as post-doc researcher with NIMS Japan and KRICT Korea.
