Shigeru Tabeta

Shigeru Tabeta is a professor in Department of Environment Systems, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at The University of Tokyo, Kashiwa, Japan.

His research field is ocean and coastal environmental assessment and management, and he is the past Chair of Marine Environmental Committee of the Japan Society of Naval Architects and Ocean Engineers.

He served as Chair of World Conference on Floating Solutions, East Asian Workshop of Marine Environment and Energy, and have been an organizer in ASME International Conference of Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering.
