NI2024 - Nursing Informatics

This presentation explores the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital tools in nursing care. It delves into the rapid development of generative AI systems, the rise of Electronic Health Records (EHR), and the role of AI in simplifying nursing documentation.  

The presentation also introduces innovative products like ClinicalKey AI, ClinicalKey for Nursing and Elsevier's Care Planning, highlighting their impact on enhancing patient care, clinician experience, and decision-making processes.  

The discussion further extends to the future of nursing, drawing insights from the Clinician of the Future reportopens in new tab/window, and the steps necessary to align real-world data expectations with the data generated from EHR. The presentation concludes with a future-thinking perspective on how AI can support real-world decision-making in nursing care.
