
Description
The main arterial supply to the face is received from branches of the facial, superficial temporal, maxillary, and ophthalmic arteries. The arterial supply to the scalp is rich and is supplied by branches of the occipital, posterior auricular, and superficial temporal arteries. These arteries form multiple anastomoses with each other.
