Quick Facts

The artery of central sulcus arises from the superior terminal branch of the middle cerebral artery. It travels superiorly, along the lateral surface of the cerebral hemisphere, towards the central sulcus, which it also travels along.

It provides an arterial supply to the central sulcus and the areas of the cerebral cortex that lie adjacent to it.
