Course
The middle lobar artery arises from the right pulmonary artery at the junction between the horizontal and oblique fissures. It extends anteriorly into the middle lobe of the right lung and is accompanied by the right middle lobar bronchus.

The middle lobar artery gives rise to lateral and medial segmental arteries.
Supplied Structures
The middle lobar artery supplies the bronchopulmonary segments of the middle lobe of the right lung.
