Origin
The right gastroomental artery gives rise to several omental branches as the artery passes from right to left along the greater curvature of the stomach.
Course
The omental branches pass inferiorly between the layers of peritoneum that form the anterior sheet of the greater omentum. At the inferior margin of the greater omentum, they recur and ascend between the layers of peritoneum now forming its posterior sheet.
