Origin

The vorticose veins emerge from the episcleral space between the sclera and the fascial sheath of the eyeball (Tenon’s capsule).

Course

The inferior vorticose veins run posteriorly on the sclera and drain into inferior ophthalmic vein.

Tributaries

The vorticose veins receive the episcleral veins.

Structures Drained

The vorticose veins drain the choroid of the eyeball.
