Origin

The testicular veins arise from the terminal ends of the pampiniform plexuses, at around the level of the superficial inguinal ring.

Course

The testicular veins enter the abdomen and ascend. The right testicular vein empties directly into the inferior vena cava, while the left testicular vein drains into the left renal vein.

Tributaries

The testicular veins receive the pampiniform plexus and tributaries from the ureter.

Structures Drained

The testicular veins drain the testes, epididymis, ureter, and cremasteric muscle.
